QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
A closer look into how we do this.
YOU MENTION INTEGRAL COACHING IN YOUR BIO. WHAT DOES IT MEAN?
Integral Coaching assumes that we are made of various parts, and that those parts are all interconnected at any time. Example: would you say that you are intrinsically the same person at work and at home even if you are playing different roles here and there? If you believe that there is a continuum between the various “you” in your day, then you understand what Integral Coaching has to offer. One outcome of our work will be to better integrate your parts, which is a powerful way of rejuvenating your foundations.
THE COACHING WILL BE PAID MY EMPLOYER. DOES YOUR PRACTICE QUALIFY AS EXECUTIVE COACHING?
Yes, it does. Because it is holistic, our work together will give you access to genuine, legitimate, and long-lasting inner strength. Your stakeholders will perceive the outcomes as enhanced vision, stamina, gravitas, and charisma. What is more: when you familiarize with your own richness and complexity, you better understand the same in others around you; you moderate your need for control; and you introduce a higher degree of fluidity in the systems you lead. The payback for your organization is higher agility, increased accountability and longer-term orientation.
I am a Core Partner with Cadran International Executive Coaching, a growing executive coaching practice with a global reach.
DO WE HAVE TO FIT INTO ONE OF THE THREE PROGRAMS?
Not at all. We can design something tailor-made for the issue you bring and for the time you have. This is typically covered in our first conversation.
HOW ARE YOUR PROGRAMS STRUCTURED?
The structure is the same for all formats.
It goes like this:
We meet online or offline at a pre-agreed frequency.
In the first session I learn about you and the issue you bring to the coaching.
During subsequent sessions we greet, we debrief, we enquire, we hold space, we do exercises, and we plan for next time.
Between sessions, I suggest exercises and I offer resources.
In the last session, we assess the outcomes of our work and its impact on the initial issue.
WHAT DOES A TYPICAL SESSION LOOK LIKE?
Usually, our meetings are structured as follows:
To begin, you tell me what you bring to our conversation this time.
We go by your agenda.
From here, my task is to ask questions, to mirror back, and to help you make sense of the answers that come up. I offer personal development tools and tips. When helpful, I guide you through explorative and integrative exercises.
At the end of the session, we recap.
Usually, I suggest exercises or resources until next time.
DO I HAVE TO PAY THE FIRST TIME WE TALK?
No. We will have at least one conversation before you decide to embark on a coaching journey with me. These conversations are opportunities for you and me to gauge if the chemistry is there. They are free.
DOES IT WORK ONLINE AS WELL AS IN PERSON?
Yes, it does. Video allows to perceive feelings and moods even thousands of miles away. It is striking to realize that distance won’t prevent from sharing even physical sensations. And when it comes to showcase exercises or body attitudes, we will zoom out as needed.
ENGLISH IS NOT MY MOTHER TONGUE. DOES IT MATTER?
A minimum level of proficiency in English (or French) is required because a large part of the experience is based on your talking to me. With that as a background, we will develop new communication skills together anyway. Also, studies show that speaking in a foreign language sometimes helps to take some distance with feelings or memories and hence makes them easier to express.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
Prices are set based on the maximal number of clients I can serve throughout the year.
Individuals who pay on personal finance pay less than companies. This is because when companies bear the cost, they too are a beneficiary of the coaching—and often there is paperwork on top.
The hourly rates are:
USD250 for private budgets.
USD500 to 750 for corporate budgets.
